Origin, Character, Tempo, Appendix
The Triple Paradiddle is the least common rudiment in the paradiddle family, possibly due to the amount of alternating strokes, which are uncommon themselves within the American Style. Regardless, this rudiment challenges the players ability to make a smooth transition when alternating between single and double strokes. The focus should be on the difference between the accents and taps, as well as consistency of taps both in rhythm and velocity.
Again, an extension of both the single and double paradiddle. This rudiment challenges players to achieve the eveness throughout whilst maintaining the accent on the start of each set. Can be seen in many studies as well as statics and solos. Introduced quite early on in the RM syllabus as it builds on previous rudiments in the paradiddle family.
